Medak house blast: Neighbours escape seconds before cylinder explodes

An LPG cylinder exploded at a house in Mutrajpally of Kowdipally mandal, Medak district, on Monday. CCTV footage showed a neighbouring family narrowly escaping the blast as they passed by just moments before the explosion. The cause is yet to be known.

Medak: Several people had a narrow escape when an LPG cylinder exploded at a house in Mutrajpally of Kowdipally mandal, Medak district, on Monday.

The blast occurred at the residence of Akula Srinivas when the family was not at home. Moments before the explosion, a neighbouring family was seen passing close to the house. CCTV footage showed them moving away just seconds before the cylinder went off.


They managed to move a few metres away when the blast took place. The cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained.
