Medak: Man kills older brother in fit of rage

Medak: A man killed his elder brother and attempted to portray it as a suicide at Masaipet mandal headquarters.

According to police, Dumpala Mahesh (34) and Dumpala Chandu (31) were staying together as their parents passed away long ago and their wives had deserted them. Chandu, who went to the market to get vegetables, returned home a bit late on Monday night as he spent time consuming liquor. On his return, Mahesh picked up an argument with him. In a fit of rage, Chandu strangulated his brother to death and hanged the body with a cable wire. Later, he informed the villagers that his brother committed suicide.

However, the police found it as a case of murder and took the accused into custody after primary inquiry.
