Medak: Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy has called upon the farmers to opt for dry seeding method in paddy cultivation to increase their profits besides getting multiple benefits.
The Medak MP, who participated in dry seeding of paddy at Vaddepally village in Raipole Mandal on Tuesday, has sensitised the farmers on the benefits of the dry seeding. Saying that dry seeding reduces the investment on paddy cultivation by about Rs 10 thousand on acre cultivation, Reddy added that the paddy yield will be increased besides reducing the crop period by 10 to 15 days.
The MP went around the muddy field to sow the paddy seeds. He spent some time talking to the paddy farmers at Vaddepally.
Talking on the occasion, the MP elaborated how Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is working tirelessly for the benefit of the farming community in the State. He participated in multiple programmes in various mandals of Dubbak Constituency on Tuesday.
