Hyderabad: Family members of a 43-year-old Nanta Divakar Reddy, a resident of Govardhanagiri, Medak, who was declared brain dead, have donated his organs to needy patients under state-run Jeevandan initiative.

On July 19, Divakar Reddy, working as a hostel warden at Narayana Junior College, Bachupally, while travelling on his two-wheeler, was hit by another two-wheeler. In the accident, he sustained grievous injuries and was shifted to a private hospital.
