Medak: Six-year-old girl injured in attack by monkeys in Narsapur
A six-year-old girl was injured after a troop of monkeys attacked her while snatching her lunch box near a school bus point in Narsapur on Wednesday. She was taken to the area hospital as residents flagged rising monkey attacks.
Medak: A troop of monkeys attacked a six-year-old girl in Narsapur town on Wednesday morning while attempting to snatch her lunch box. The victim was identified as Joshnavi.
Carrying her lunch box, the girl was proceeding to board her school bus when the monkeys attacked her and took away the lunch box. In panic, the child fell on the road. The bus driver and her parents rushed to her rescue and saved her from further harm.
She was immediately rushed to the area hospital in Narsapur for treatment. Narsapur has witnessed multiple monkey attacks in recent times. Despite several attempts, officials have failed to restrict the menace.
