Medigadda barrage row: Telangana HC extends suspension order against KCR, Harish

Hyderabad: Justice K Lakshman of the Telangana High Court on Thursday extended the suspension order against former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and former Minister T Harish Rao in the criminal case registered against them at the trial court in Jayashankar Bhupalpally.
At the instance of Nagavalli Rajalingamurthy, a social activist, the case was booked in the issue alleging misappropriation of government funds in the construction of Medigadda barrage. Taking cognisance of the private complaint, the District Judge summoned Chandrashekhar Rao and Harish Rao.
The said order was under challenge under the present criminal petition and the same was suspended by Justice Lakshman in an earlier order.
On Thursday, at the request of Rajalingamurthy’s counsel, the case was adjourned for further hearing and in the meanwhile, the interim order was extended.
