Medipally police arrest four in Chengicherla burglary cases
The Medipally police solved a series of burglary cases reported in Chengicherla and arrested three interstate burglars along with a receiver. Cash and mobile phones were recovered from the accused, who targeted locked houses during night hours.

Hyderabad: The Medipally police solved a series of burglary cases recently reported in the Chengicherla area and arrested three interstate burglars and one receiver on Friday.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Mahadev Jha and Pawan Gupta alias Pawan Kumar, both residents of Delhi, and Mangal Singh of Uttar Pradesh, all three burglars, and Seeram Sav Beerendra of Bihar, who acted as the receiver of the stolen property.
According to the police, the suspects allegedly broke into locked houses during night hours and fled with cash and gold ornaments. Recently, four cases were registered at Medipally Police Station.
“Special teams traced the suspects using CCTV footage, technical evidence and local intelligence. They were found to be taking shelter in neighbouring States. Our special teams went to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, nabbed them and brought them to Hyderabad on transit warrants,” said a senior police official.
Police recovered Rs 2.04 lakh in cash and four mobile phones from them. Further investigation is on.
