Mee Seva center owner murdered in Peddapalli

Kota Chiranjeevi, 38, owner of a Mee Seva center in Peddapalli, was stabbed and beaten to death by three unknown assailants near Mandal Samakhya office. Police say an extramarital affair may be the motive and investigation is underway

Peddapalli: The owner of a Mee Seva center was murdered in broad daylight by assailants armed with knives and rods in Centenary Colony of Ramagiri mandal on Friday afternoon. According to local residents, Kota Chiranjeevi (38) of New Maredupaka was operating a Mee Seva center. On Friday, Chiranjeevi went to the Mandal Samakhya office where he was attacked by three unknown persons with knives and rods.

He died on the spot with severe bleeding injuries. An extramarital affair is said to be the reason for the murder of Chiranjeevi, who was reportedly close to a woman after the death of his wife. Manthani CI Raju and Ramagiri SI Srinivas visited the spot and began an investigation by registering the case.
