Meet Aron Varma, an expert in miniature tattoos
The pro tattoo artist started his tattoo studio four years ago and he managed to become successful in a short span of time.
Nothing gives you as much satisfaction as following your passion and reaching great heights in life does. Meet Aron Varma, an expert in miniature tattoos who is attempting to break the Guinness World Records in tattooing and test his luck.
Aron had a humble beginning. The pro tattoo artist started his tattoo studio four years ago and he managed to become successful in a short span of time. “I completed MBA and worked for MNCs, but I always wanted to get into the art field. So, I moved to Goa and underwent training in tattooing. I was there for two years and learnt everything there is to learn about tattoos,” says the tattooist, who recently drew a tattoo on a tourist from abroad for 18 hours straight.
People from different places come to him for his miniature tattoos. “I have done more than 5,000 tattoos. Making single line tattoos is very difficult — I can make a tattoo from .5mm to full-body. I am someone who is very particular about the products I use because everyone’s skin in different. Recently, I permanently shaped a woman’s eyebrows through tattoos. It was challenging as it’s a sensitive area I was dealing with but the risk was worth it as the end result was very satisfying,” says Aron, whose tattoo of CP Sajjanar on one of his admirers went viral on social media.
Aron does various types of tattoos such as Maori, Dot, Line, Shade, Theme, Portrait, Tribal, Colour, Geometric and Ambigram. “I feel art is in my genes as my dad and grandfatherare also into art. I would admire their work, but I wanted to do art which would stay with a person for a lifetime. So I chose the tattoo industry,” concludes Aron, who is also known for tattooing people’s journeys on their body.
