Mega job mela at Karimnagar evokes good response

Youngsters participating in Jobfair held at Giriraj Degree college in Karimnagar on Saturday.
Karimnagar: A mega job mela evoked good response from unemployed youth with 53 companies from different parts of the country setting up their stalls in the mela on Saturday.
Out of 5,216 aspirants participated in the mela, 1,153 candidates were selected for various jobs and names of 2,165 candidates were shortlisted.
Inaugurating the mela, BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister, Gangula Kamalakar advised the educated youth to update their skills frequently to get more opportunities.
Government was trying to provide employment to youth of downtrodden sections and a number of companies were coming to Karimnagar to provide jobs, he said and advised youth to develop their skills to achieve opportunities.
The youth participated in the mela were provided snacks by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.
MLC Naradasu Laxman Rao, Karimnagar Mayor Y Sunil Rao, SUDA Chairman GV Ramakrishna Rao, Kothapalli Municipal Chairman Rudra Raju and others participated in the inaugural of mela.
