Warangal: Megha Gas, the hydrocarbon division of Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL), opened its compressed natural gas (CNG) station in association with the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) here on Monday.
IOCL Deputy General Manager (sales) M Dharma Rao along with IOCL Engineer-in-chief VRL Hariprasad, Megha Gas Retail Sales Manager Deva Chandrashekhar and others inaugurated the CNG facility set up on the premises of the Sri Rama Filling Station at Diesel Colony on the Bhupalpally road in the city on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Chandrashekhar said that consumers should avail of this facility as petrol and diesel prices were shooting up and hoped that more people will convert their vehicles to run them on CNG. “We will be setting up 24 CNG stations this fiscal. One more CNG facility will come up near old central jail premises,” he added. Megha Gas Technical Manager Raj Kumar, site in charge M Rajesh and others were present.q
