Hyderabad: The signature dance move of the hit number ‘Saami Saami’ from ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ has made Rashmika Mandanna even more popular. Wherever she flies down, she would greet her fans with this signature dance move with ‘Saami Saami’ playing in the background.
Audiences got to see Rashmika doing the dance move for the song during the pre-release event just before ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ hit the screens on Friday last week. Needless to say, the step drew a lot of attention on social media. On top of it, it also made users come up with some satirical memes on the internet.
Memes on ‘Pushpa’ have been going viral right from the time the trailer was released on social media. It hasn’t stopped there, memes on Samantha’s item number ‘Oo Antava..’, memes on Allu Arjun’s look as sandalwood smuggler and memes on his famous dialogue ‘Thaggede Le’ have been feeding Twitter users with a constant supply of raw material.
Coming to the box office numbers, Pushpa stood on the top breaking the previous records of ‘Love Story’ and Balakrishna’s ‘Akhanda’. The Sukumar directorial grossed a whopping $5,43,603 in just five days of release overseas. It has also set the record as the highest grosser post pandemic.
Although the film is being criticised widely for its climax sequence, ‘Pushpa’ is doing exceptional business with packed houses in the overseas as well as domestic markets.
