Metro services disrupted in Hyderabad

The metro services were mainly impacted on the Hitec City-Ameerpet section during the peak morning traffic hour

Hyderabad: Scores of commuters were left stranded after the metro services were disrupted reportedly for an hour on Wednesday morning.

According to the information available, the metro services were mainly impacted on the Hitec City-Ameerpet section during the peak morning traffic hour.


There were no reportedly no service running from Hitec City towards Ameerpet around 7 am and that started in the services getting impacted.

The disruption in metro service was said to have been caused by a metro train getting stuck at Jubilee Hills station due to technical issues.

Later, the services were restored.

Taking to social media, the L&T Hyderabad Metro Rail announced that the services encountered a temporary disruption caused by a signalling system technical glitch. “We worked promptly to resolve the issue and normal services have been restored,” it said.
