MG Motors launch ‘Windows EV Pro’ with 52.9 kWh battery pack, ADAS

The newly unveiled Windows EV pro is equipped with a 52.9 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed range of 449 km on a single charge.

Hyderabad: With the increasing demand for electric vehicles, MG Motor India launches the ‘Windows EV Pro,’ an upgraded variant of its popular electric MPV that offers enhanced features and improved designs.

The newly unveiled Windows EV pro is equipped with a 52.9 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed range of 449 km on a single charge. This is a significant improvement over the previous 38 kWh battery which offered a range of approximately 331 km.

Features and Designs

The Pro Variant which is launched in three new colours Celadon Blue, Glaze Red, and Aurora Silver, retains its signature AeroGlide design but introduces new dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels. The car’s interior enhancements include providing more space with a lighter Ivory leatherette upholstery.

Technological Features

The car is equipped with an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)suite which features blind spot detection, traffic sign recognition mechanism, driver attention alert, and 360-degree camera system with parking sensors among others. Additionally, the vehicle also offers Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging capabilities.

Pricing

The car is priced at Rs.12.49 lakh while the bookings are open from May 18 onwards. The pricing includes two ownership plans:

With Battery Rental Plan : Rs.12.50 lakh (ex-showroom) + Rs.4.5 per km

Without Battery Rental Plan: Rs.17.50 lakh (ex-showroom)
