Midnight fire damages hardware shop in Hyderabad’s Kalapather
A fire broke out at Bilal Hardware Shop in Hyderabad’s Kalapather around midnight on Friday. Locals and firefighters extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported. A short circuit is suspected, and the owner estimated a loss of Rs 6 lakh.
HYDERABAD: A fire broke out at a hardware material shop at Kalapather in the city on Friday night. No casualties were reported in the incident. The fire broke out at around midnight at Bilal Hardware Shop located at Kalapather road.
On noticing the incident, the local people rushed to the spot and started efforts to douse the fire. A fire tender from Chandulalbaradari reached the spot and put off the fire. The fire officials suspect that the fire started following a short circuit.
The shop owner said that he had locked the shutter and left for his house around 10 pm. Later that night, he came to know about the incident and rushed to the spot. He said that property worth Rs 6 lakh was damaged in the incident.
