Mild tension prevails at Mohan Babu’s farm house amid reports of family disputes

Hyderabad: Amid reports of family disputes between veteran actor Manchu Mohan Babu and his younger son and actor Manchu Manoj Kumar, mild tension prevailed at the former’s farm house in Jalpally, Pahadi Shareef on the city outskirts on Monday.
Dozens of private security personnel (bouncers) were deployed at the vicinity, in view of the apparent visit of Manchu Vishnu, the veteran actor’s elder son. Vishnu, who is also president of MAA is expected to arrive from Dubai in the evening and meet his father and brother.
Earlier, on Sunday, Manchu Manoj, visited a private hospital for reported injuries he suffered after allegedly being beaten up by some group of people in the farm house.
According to news that went viral, some family dispute between the father and son led to a heated argument and Mohan Babu’s aides had assaulted Manoj. The Pahadi Shareef police said that they received a call on Dial – 100 from his house about a family issue, but no formal complaint was lodged.
But reports suggested that Mohan Babu’s aides beat up Manoj and both son and father complained against each other. However, the PR Team of the Manchu family said that there was no truth in the news that Mohan Babu and Manoj complained to the police against each other.
Meanwhile, a video of Manoj wearing a cervical collar and walking out with difficulty along with his wife Bhuma Mounika and others from a private hospital in Banjara Hills went viral.
It can be noted that last year, a video purportedly showing Manchu Vishnu and Manoj in a verbal duel had gone viral. However, back then Manoj had later clarified and covered up saying that it was as part of a reality show concept.
