Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed for a while at Majlis Bachao Tehreek Party office following a face-off between AIMIM party workers and MBT workers on Sunday afternoon.

The incident took place near Al Aman Hotel at Dabeerpura road when the convoy of AIMIM party floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi was passing on the road. A few persons raised slogans following which workers of the MBT and AIMIM raised slogans and waved flags. A rally was organized by the AIMIM in the area earlier in the day.

Tempers ran high as more workers of both the parties reached the spot. The police who were present at the spot dispersed both the groups from the place. Later, additional police personnel were rushed to the spot as a precautionary measure.
