Karimnagar: Mild tension prevailed at the Collectorate when Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) students tried to make a forceful entry into the premises. ABVP activists staged a dharna at the Collectorate on Friday, demanding that the state government release pending fee reimbursement bills and address issues in the education department.

There was jostling between the police and the ABVP workers when the latter tried to gatecrash into the Collectorate. Policemen brought the situation under control by taking a few activists into custody.
