Mancherial/Kumram Bheem Asifabad: Several parts of both Mancherial and Kumram Bheem Asifabad districts felt mild tremors on Sunday. Mancherial district experienced the tremors for the second time within last eight days.
Tremors were felt in Mancherial district headquarters, Luxettipet, Bellampalli, Nennal mandal, Madaram township of Thandur mandal, Rampur and Royyalapalli villages of Kotapalli mandal at 6.48 pm for three seconds. Similar mild tremors were witnessed in some places of Bejjur and Chintalamanepalli mandals at around 7 pm for a brief time.
A local claimed that his tile-roofed house was caved in due to the earthquake at Dimda village in Chintalamanepalli mandal. The news of the tremors went viral on social media platforms, but the local residents got panicked by the news.
On October 27 at 2.03 pm, Chunnambattiwada, Hi-Tech City Colony, Laxminagar, Gowthamigangar and many other areas in Mancherial district headquarters, and Coal Chemical Complex (CCC) Colony, Seetharampalli village in Naspur mandal and Naspur mandal center experienced mild tremors for a second or two.
