Mini truck carrying sand sinks into nala in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills

A mini truck carrying sand partially sank into a nala at Uday Nagar on Road No.11 in Banjara Hills, triggering panic among locals. The driver was rescued safely and authorities later removed the vehicle

Hyderabad: A goods vehicle (mini truck) carrying a load of sand material saw a small portion of a nala sink while passing through Uday Nagar on Road No 11, Banjara Hills on Thursday, sparking mild tension among locals.

Locals heard a huge sound after the truck sank into the nala. However, no one was hurt in the incident. A few youngsters who rushed to the spot rescued the driver from the truck.

Meanwhile, locals alerted the Banjara Hills police, who reached the spot. Officials from GHMC and HMWSSB also reached the spot.

After a few hours, the truck was removed out.
