Minister Eshwar consoles kin of SRP3 mishap victims

Mancherial: SC Development Minister Koppula Eshwar consoled the bereaved family members of the two coal miners Bera Laxmaiah and Krishna Reddy who were killed in a recent mishap that occurred inside of SRP-3 and 3A Incline in Srirampur, at their residences in Srirampur and Hajipur mandals on Sunday.
He was accompanied by Mancherial MLA N Diwakar Rao and Ramagundam MLA K Chander.
Eeshwar assured them all support from the government. He instructed officials of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) to take steps to prevent the recurrence of similar incidents in future. He termed the accident as an unfortunate and tragic one. He stated that the coal giant was making strides in coal mining in the country.
Bera Lachaiah (60), Krishna Reddy (57) G Satya Narayana Raju (32), and Rinka Chandrasekhar (32) were killed on the spot when a roof of the underground mine caved in on them on November 10. They were stitching the roof at the time of the mishap. The management of SCCL has already announced a compensation of somewhere between Rs 70 lakh and Rs 1 crore to the kin of the victims.
