Hyderabad: Social Welfare Minister Koppula Eshwar on Thursday visited the towering statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Narmada valley in Gujarat to study it for expediting the construction work of 125-feet tall statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar near Imax here.
Photo gallery, laser show and other amenities provided at Vallabhbhai Patel’s statue were examined by the Minister along with senior officials who accompanied him.
The Minister also studied the maintenance of the statue and beautification works carried out near the premises.
A few days ago, the Minister informed that the construction works of Ambedkar statue would be completed at the earliest and already 40 per cent of the works were completed.
In New Delhi, he visited a workshop, which is famous for making different types of statues, and examined various models.
