Minister Sridhar Babu honours statehood movement martyrs, calls ‘Jai Telangana’ a sacred emotion

Industries Minister called 'Jai Telangana' a powerful emotion and paid tributes to statehood martyrs in Karimnagar. He said the formation of Telangana was possible due to supreme sacrifices and pledged government support to bereaved families

Karimnagar: Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu stated that ‘Jai Telangana’ is not merely a slogan, but an emotion and the very breath of every Telangana citizen.

“It embodies our identity, our yearning, our struggle, our self-respect, our awakening, and our deepest emotions,” he said after paying floral tributes to the Telangana martyrs at the Amaraveerula Stupam here on Monday.

“Just as we invoke the divine before beginning any auspicious endeavour, it is our sacred duty to remember the sacrifices of the martyrs whenever we celebrate the formation of Telangana. This is the highest form of respect we can offer for their supreme sacrifice,” he added.

The Minister emphasised that the State of Telangana was the result of ultimate sacrifices made by many individuals. He further assured that the State government would support the bereaved families who lost their children for the cause.
