Jagtial: In the wake of senior Congress leader T Jeevan Reddy’s reported decision to quit the party, Ministers D Sridhar Babu and Adluri Laxman Kumar held discussions with the former. Based on TPCC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan’s instructions, Ministers along with Choppadandi MLA Medipally Satyam and others visited the house of Jeevan Reddy here on Saturday and held discussions for more than one hour.
During their interaction, they reportedly tried to convince Jeevan Reddy to withdraw their decision to quit the party. Being associated with the Congress for the past four decades, he should not leave the party. Moreover, his services were required for the party in the future, they said. Ministers reportedly discussed the local political problems and other issues and assured him to provide a top priority in the party by discussing with the party high command.
