Minor arrested for burglary in Hyderabad; Rs.3 lakh worth gold, silver ornaments recovered

According to the police officials, the juvenile who discontinued his studies after third grade, got addicted to consuming liquor and for his expenses decided to burgled houses in secluded residential colonies

Hyderabad: The Task Force (South) team along with the local police has nabbed a 17-year-old boy on charges of breaking into houses and burgling them in Hussainialam on Saturday. Gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 3 lakh was seized.

According to the police officials, the juvenile who discontinued his studies after third grade, got addicted to consuming liquor and for his expenses decided to burgled houses in secluded residential colonies. He was also involved in automobile and mobile phone theft cases.

Basing on a tip-off, the police nabbed him and recovered the stolen material. He was handed over to the Hussainialam police for further investigation.
