Nalgonda: Miryalaguda police on Tuesday arrested a five-member gang of ganja peddlers and seized four kilograms of ganja from their procession. The arrested were identified as Pothuganti Anil Kumar, a resident of Kothapet and Utadi Gyaneshwar of hayatnagar in Hyderabad, Saidi Reddy alias Babbu, native of Miryalaguda, pangi Vishwanath of Siduwada and Vema Jhan Reddy, a resident of Batchuguda in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking at a media conference, Superintendent of Police A V Ranganath said at first, the police arrested three persons at Miryalaguda while exchanging ganja. Based on the information provided by them, two other persons from AP, the suppliers of the contraband, were arrested, he added.
