Miscreants flee with Rs 20 lakh after smashing car window in Telangana’s Sangareddy

Sangareddy: Unidentified miscreants decamped with Rs 20 lakh after breaking the windows of a Toyota Innova parked near Classic Garden Function Hall in Sangareddy town on Tuesday.
According to Sangareddy town police, the victim, Mohd Muzaffar, had sold his house and was en route to the registration office to complete the transaction. Muzaffar had received the cash from the buyer and briefly stopped the vehicle near the function hall, keeping the money bag inside the car, when the miscreants struck.
Police suspect the accused were tracking Muzaffar from the time he accepted the cash. A case has been registered, and investigators are examining CCTV footage to identify the suspects.
