Siddipet: Unidentified persons opened fire and robbed Rs 42.5 lakhs from a realtor Narasaiah who was waiting at Sub-registrar Office in Siddipet for registration of a piece of land on Monday afternoon.
The accused, who were carrying a gun, fired a round to threaten the victim. The driver of Narasaiah sustained injuries in the incident. He was rushed to Government Hospital in Siddipet for treatment.
As the news of firing at the Registration office spread like a wildfire in the town, Siddipet Police have rushed to the spot. They have been examining the CCTV footage in and around the crime scene. The accused were wearing masks.
