Missing man’s body found in well in Manakondur mandal

Karimnagar: The body of Sangem Raju (30), who had been missing since January 3, was found in an agricultural well near Vegurupalli in Manakondur mandal on Tuesday. His body was discovered inside his car, which was noticed submerged in the well on Monday.
A native of Utur in Manakondur mandal, Raju had moved to Hyderabad with his mother after the death of his father and was working in a private firm. On January 3, he left home after informing his mother that he was going to Utur by hiring a rented car. He had been missing since then, following which his mother lodged a complaint with the Manakondur police on January 5.
Local people who noticed the vehicle in the agricultural well on Monday alerted the police, who rushed to the spot and launched an investigation.
As there was water in the well, the police drained it by arranging motors and retrieved the car, in which Raju’s body was found.
