Hyderabad: A minor girl, who went missing from near her house in Jawaharnagar on Sunday, was traced on Monday.
The six-year-old girl is suspected to have been allegedly kidnapped by one Srinu, a mason who belongs to the same neighbourhood. The child was found in an unconscious state in Pragathi Nagar on Monday by local residents, who alerted the Jawaharnagar police.
Police said the child had minor injuries on her body. She was shifted to the hospital for a medical examination. A case of kidnap was booked and efforts are on to nab the suspect. Based on further investigation and the medical report, necessary action will be taken, police said.
