Siddipet: A 50-year-old woman, who went missing from home on Friday, was found dead in a tank close to her house at Bahilampur village in Mulugu Mandal on Sunday.
The victim was identified as Palle Yellamma, who used to sell vegetables for a living, reportedly consumed liquor on festival day with family members. Yellamma left her home to wish her neighbours on the occasion of Dasara, however, she failed to return home at night. The family members, who searched for her on Saturday, lodged a complaint with Mulug police. The body of Yellamma was found floating in the water on Sunday morning. A case has been registered and investigation is ongoing.
