Siddipet: Impressed by the developmental work taken up in Gajwel Assembly constituency, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana JB Mohapatra on Saturday said that Mission Bhagiratha was a model for supplying safe drinking water to the entire country. He visited Komatibanda reservoirs that supply drinking water to Gajwel constituency and part of Siddipet district.
The Chief Commissioner who visited Gajwel, represented by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in the State Assembly, to see the development across the town, said it was heartening to see the State government complete Mission Bhagiratha within such a short time.
District Collector P Venkatrami Reddy took Mohapatra on a guided tour of Gajwel. Surprised at seeing facilities at Integrated Market Gajwel, the Commissioner said the works indicated the committment of the Chief Minister to development.
