MK Mukesh’s Hockey Academy inaugurated at Delhi Public School
Hyderabad: In a bid to nurture young talent from school level, triple Olympian hockey player from Hyderabad N Mukesh Kumar, in association with the Delhi Public School, opened a coaching academy – MK Mukesh’s Hockey Academy – at the school’s campus at Nadergul on Friday.
Chief national badminton coach Pullela Gopichand, along with Mukesh Kumar and DPS Chairman Komaraiah Malka and others inaugurated the academy. Mukesh Kumar said the facility at the school will focus on nurturing the talent not just from the school but children whoever is interested in the game. He said he will use his valuable experience in whatever way possible to help the academy become a hug for the sport in the city and the State. Gopichand stressed the importance of sports in one’s life that helps them with balance and active mind.
