Jayashankar Bhupalpally: MLA Gandra Venkataramana Reddy said the State government was setting up the integrated vegetable and meat market to provide more facilities for the growing population in Bhupalpally.
The MLA along with District Collector Bhavesh Mishra laid the foundation stone for the construction of an integrated vegetable and meat market at an estimated cost of Rs 4.5 crore at the Manjur Nagar locality where 1,000 SCCL’s quarters will be available in the town on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said that 1,000 residential quarters would come up in the same locality. “The construction of the market will be done by the engineering wing of the municipal administration department,” he added.
Collector Mishra said the construction of the integrated market was one of the development initiatives taken by the State government to set an example for other States. He said the government would look into the possibility of building a quality market for the benefit of the people.
Additional Collector TS Divakar, Municipal Chairperson Sheggam Venkatarani, Vice-Chairman Kotha Haribabu, Municipal Commissioner Srinivas, and others were present at the programme.
