Adilabad: MLA Jogu Ramanna has thanked Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for releasing Rs 93 crore to construct a flyover at the busiest Thamsi bus bay in Adilabad town.
He took out a massive rally from his camp office to Nehru Chowk here on Saturday. Ramanna said that the State government was already ready to address challenges of the public. He thanked Rao for sanctioning the funds meant for construction of the facility. He stated traffic snarls would come to an end with the advent of the flyover. He added that the people of the district headquarters had been demanding it for quite a long time.
The cadres of the TRS party hailed Ramanna for playing a vital role in government releasing of the funds. While activists carried him on their shoulders, women members sprinkled petals of flowers. The activists danced to drum beats and distributed sweets to mark the occasion.
