Warangal: Wardhannapet MLA Aruri Ramesh said that he would take the issue of allotment of the land to the Hyderabad Public School (HPS) at Yelkuthy village in Dharmasagar mandal near here to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and ensure that the land is allotted at the earliest.
HPS Principal L Saritha Reddy and other staff members have met the MLA here on Friday and submitted a memorandum to him urging that the government allot 52 acres of the land for developing a school campus at the Yelkurthy village as promised in the past. Responding to this positively, the MLA said that he would take steps for the allotment of the land.
The third branch of the famed Hyderabad Public School Society was inaugurated in temporary premises at Madikonda near here in August 2016 by the then Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, and started the classes. The management urged the government to allot more than 50 acres of the land as per the government market value of the land in order to set up the school within two years. But due to different reasons, the land was not allotted to the HPS so far.
