MLC Dasoju Sravan criticises TGPSC over spelling errors in Group-1 exam
BRS MLA Chintha Prabhakar distributed Rs 19.36 lakh worth of Chief Minister Relief Fund cheques to 82 beneficiaries in Sangareddy and Sadasivapet. He urged citizens to approach his office directly and criticised the Congress government for unfulfilled promises
Hyderabad: BRS MLC Dasoju Sravan on Thursday lashed out at the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC), accusing it of reducing the prestigious Group-I exam to a mockery. Pointing to spelling errors in the result notification, he said such lapses reflect the Commission’s incompetence and callousness.
“When TGPSC cannot even issue a result notification without correcting spelling mistakes, how can aspirants trust the fairness or integrity of the examination process?” he asked, stating that minor clerical errors were litmus test of TGPSC’s efficiency.
Taking to X, Sravan said the future of thousands of youth who sacrificed jobs and mortgaged land to prepare, were being mercilessly crushed by repeated procedural blunders and evaluation lapses. He said instead of accepting responsibility, the Commission was portraying its failure as success.
“The midnight rush to release results without even checking spellings shows sheer incompetence and utter disregard for their duty,” he said. He termed it a betrayal of trust and a mockery of constitutional responsibility to deliver justice.
