Hyderabad: MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha lauded Hyderabad shooter Esha Singh who shone bright with six medals in the recently-concluded 64th national shooting championship.

The 16-year-old Hyderabad girl met Kavitha who felicitated the youngster for her achievements. Kavitha also hoped that Esha would win more laurels for the State and the country.

Esha Singh won two gold medals – junior and youth categories – in the 10m pistol shooting. She also won a bronze in the women’s category on the same day. Representing the Telangana team, she also won a bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. Two days later, she added two more bronze medals when she won the third place in women’s 25m pistol even in the individual and team categories.
