MLC Madhusudhan condemns arrest of social media activist Konatham Dileep
MLC Tatha Madhusudhan said that it was undemocratic that Telangana activist Dileep, who came to the cybercrime police station for questioning as per the orders of the court, was illegally arrested by the police.
Khammam: BRS district president, MLC Tatha Madhusudhan strongly condemned the arrest of former Telangana Digital Media director and social media activist, Konatham Dileep by Hyderabad cybercrime police on Monday.
In a statement here, the MLC said that it was undemocratic that Telangana activist Dileep, who came to the cybercrime police station for questioning as per the orders of the court, was illegally arrested by the police.
Disregarding court orders was also a violation of laws. The Congress government, which claims to be the people’s government, was harassing those who were questioning its failure in implementing the election promises, he said.
Madhusudhan alleged that some police officers who were violating the laws would face action in the future. Police should release Dileep unconditionally, he demanded.
