MLC polls: TRS candidate Palla Rajeshwar files nomination papers

Nalgonda: TRS candidate for Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduates MLC election Palla Rajeshwar Reddy on Tuesday filed his nomination papers with Returning Officer Prashant Jeevan Patil at the District Collectorate here.

Nalgonda turned pink for the occasion with party TRS flags and flexi banners put up along the road between Lakshmi Gardens and District Collectorate, the route of a bike rally. Accompanied by Ministers G Jagadish Reddy, Errabelli dayakar Rao, Sathyavathi Rathod and Puvvada Ajay Kumar, the TRS candidate arrived at the District Collectorate in a rally taken out with more than 2,000 bikes.

The TRS elected representatives of local bodies and leaders from Nalgonda, Suryapet and Yadadri-Bhongir district participated in the rally.

Earlier, mild tension prevailed when members of Left parties raised objection to Rajeshwar Reddy addressing the rally a few meters away from the District Collectorate.
