MLRIT organizes awareness session of RTI Act 2005

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Council for Higher Education Chairman, Prof. V. Balakista Reddy delivered a keynote address at an awareness program “Empowering Youth on RTI Act – 2005” at MLR Institute of Technology.
Chairman Marri Laxman Reddy, Principal Dr. K. Srinivas Rao, and NSS Motivational Speaker Dr. S. Ravi Teja participated in the inauguration of the RTI awareness session as part of 20 Years of celebrations.
In his address, Prof. Reddy underscored the pivotal role of the Right to Information (RTI) Act in fostering transparency, accountability, and active citizenship. He emphasized that the youth of today must be well-versed with the Indian Constitution, as a deep understanding of its principles and the judiciary enables individuals to effectively exercise their democratic rights.
The session has participation of over 1,000 students, along with Dean Dr. V. Radhika Devi, Heads of Departments, NSS Program Officer Mr. N. Uday Ranjan Goud, faculty members, and NSS volunteers.
