MNR Trust celebrates Teachers’ Day, honours educators with Rs. 25 lakh incentives
MNR Educational Trust celebrated Teachers’ Day at its Fasalwadi campus with grandeur, honouring teachers and researchers with Rs. 25 lakh in incentives. Former Telangana DGP M. Mahender Reddy, who served as Chief Guest, highlighted the crucial role of teachers in nation-building.

Sangareddy: MNR Educational Trust, the 51-year-parent body of MNR University, celebrated Teachers’ Day with grandeur at its Fasalwadi campus on Friday, paying rich tributes to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
On the occasion, the management presented incentives worth Rs 25 lakh to outstanding teachers and researchers in recognition of their exemplary contributions to education and research.
Addressing the gathering as the Chief Guest, M Mahender Reddy, former DGP of Telangana, underlined the pivotal role of teachers in shaping young minds and nation-building. Recalling his own journey, he credited his teachers and professors for laying the foundation for his illustrious career.
He also lauded MN Raju, Founder-Chairman of MNR Educational Trust, for choosing teaching over a government job early in his career and for establishing a legacy in education that has flourished over the past 50 years.
Speaking on the occasion MN Raju expressed pride in his decision to dedicate his life to teaching, while Vice Chairman of MNRET and Chancellor of MNR University MS Ravi Varma urged teachers to keep pace with rapid technological advancements in order to stay relevant in today’s dynamic education ecosystem.
Earlier in the day, Ravi Varma inaugurated state-of-the-art learning halls for medical students on campus. Around 500 heads, faculty and staff of MNR group of educational institutes took part in the day-long celebrations.
