Khammam: Light to moderate rainfall was recorded in erstwhile Khammam district during the past twenty four hours.
Mandals like Kamepalli, Enkoor, Penuballi, Kusumanchi, Nelakondapalli and Yerrupalam received moderate rainfall while Khammam Urban and Rural, Konijerla, Raghunathapalem and others witnessed light rainfall.
Several low lying areas in Khammam city were inundated with rain water which disrupted vehicular movements on the roads on Sunday. Enkoor received a rainfall of 34..6 mm, Penuballi 31 mm and Singareni mandal 23.1 mm.
In Kothagudem, Annapureddypalle, Dummugudem and Yellandu received above 48 mm rainfall followed by Burgampahad-41.4 mm. On Sunday 13 mandals in the district received moderate rainfall while the other mandals witnessed light rainfall, informed the officials.
