Modi must tender apology to Telangana people: Puvvada
In Khammam, Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar along with the TRS district president T Madhusudan took out a protest rally in the city streets and burnt an effigy of the Prime Minister at ZP Centre.
Khammam: TRS leaders and activists took to the streets across erstwhile Khammam district on Wednesday staging protests against Prime Minister Narendra Modi”s remarks against Telangana formation in Parliament on Tuesday.
In Khammam, Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar along with the TRS district president T Madhusudan took out a protest rally in the city streets and burnt an effigy of the Prime Minister at ZP Centre.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister demanded that Modi tender an apology to the people of Telangana. Modi displayed his hatred towards Telangana in a rather shameful manner with his remarks in Parliament and insulted the people of the State, he said.
Similar protests were staged in all mandal and constituency headquarters in the district. MLA K Upender Reddy staged protest at Palair against Modi”s comments.
