Hyderabad: Mohammed Affan Khan scored a hat-trick to power Anwar-Ul-Uloom College to a 5-0 victory over PG College, Secunderabad, in the final of the Osmania University Inter-College Men’s Hockey Championship at Gymkhana Ground, Secunderabad, on Monday.

Affan netted in the 8th, 11th, and 27th minutes, while Shaik Aijaz Ali (18th) and Mohammed Ali Khan (21st) scored a goal each in the team’s championship triumph.


Result: Final: Anwar-Ul-Uloom College 5 (Mohammed Affan Khan 8’, 11’ 27’, Shaik Aijaz Ali 18’, Mohammed Ali Khan 21’) bt PG College, Secunderabad 0.
