Monal Gajjar sends out ‘green message’

Former Telugu Bigg Boss contestant Monal Gajjar on Monday planted a sapling at Jubilee Hills as part of the Green India Challenge. The green initiative started by TRS MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar is getting a tremendous response with each passing day.
On Sunday, actor Naveen Chandra accepted the challenge from actor Raja Ravindra. On Monday morning, Monal accepted the challenge from her Bigg Boss 4 co contestant Mehaboob Shaikh and planted the sapling.
Speaking on the occasion, the Krack actor thanked Santosh Kumar and appealed to everyone to make their environs greener. “I thank TRS MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar for initiating such a drive which is inspiring all walks of the public. I request everyone to do their bit to save the environment from getting polluted further,” Monal said.
The momentum on spreading the initiative picked up during the lockdown when celebrities voluntarily came forward to plant trees. Later, people of all walks in the country embraced it as they clicked selfies while planting trees flooded social media. On the work front, she recently appeared in Ravi Teja-starrer Krack in which she had done a special number.
