Huzurabad: Congress leader and Telangana affairs in-charge Manickam Tagore on Monday alleged that the money amassed in illegal ways was being distributed in Huzurabad Assembly constituency to lure voters.
Addressing the media here, he said the Election Commission of India has lost its credibility as a neutral organisation since it was “supporting TRS and BJP and had allowed distribution of cash and liquor on the occasion of Dasara festival.”
Talking about increase in prices of diesel, petrol, and cooking gas, the Congress leader expressed concern over the issue and demanded that both Union and Telangana Finance Ministers Nirmala Sitaraman and T Harish Rao respectively explain the reasons for increase in fuel prices to the public. “Congress candidate Balmuri Venkata Narsing Rao has a clean image and he will give a tough fight to BJP candidate Eatala Rajender,” he said.
Pointing out that another 10 days was left for polling, he urged the cadre to visit each and every house and seek votes from them.
