Monsoons fury: Musheerabad records 124 mm as Hyderabad gets battered in heavy rains
Hyderabad witnessed intense monsoon showers on Sunday night, with core Secunderabad areas battered by very heavy rainfall. Musheerabad topped the charts at 124 mm, while Mettuguda, Tarnaka, Habsiguda, Moula Ali, and Kapra also reported over 100 mm of rain.

Hyderabad: Several parts of the city, especially the core regions of Secunderabad, witnessed very heavy to heavy rainfall ranging from 100 mm to 124 mm on Sunday night.
Musheerabad, Mettuguda, Chilkalguda, Osmania University, Tarnaka, Habsiguda, Moula Ali, and Kapra, bore the brunt of the massive rains.
In Musheerabad, Boudha Nagar recorded 12.4 cm rainfall while MCH Colony recorded 11.9 cm, Osmania University recorded 105.8 mm followed by Kapra (103.3 mm), and Marredpally (101.8 mm).
Heavy rains were also recorded at Shaikpet and Jubilee Hills (99 mm), Adikmet in Musheerabad (96 mm), Ambedkar Nagar (Alwal) (95.8 mm), Quthbullapur ESS Jeedimetla (95.5 mm), Sitaphalmandi and Marredpally (91.5 mm), the TSRTC Employee Building in Vidyanagar in Himayathnagar (90.5 mm), Alwal community hall (88.8 mm), and the Uppal GHMC Zonal Office (88.8 mm).
