Hyderabad: Minister of State of Railways Raosaheb Patil Danve, on Friday, visited South Central Railway headquarters, Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad and held a performance review meeting of the zone with SCR General Manager, Gajanan Mallya. SCR Additional General Manager, Arun Kumar Jain, and principal heads of departments were also present.

Complimenting the officials and staff of South Central Railway for the progress achieved in various sectors, the Union Minister advised the officials to speed up the progress of infrastructure facilities, passenger amenities and achieve the targets set for all round progress.


He stressed that SCR should transport a host of freight commodities and make every effort to strengthen its freight business. He also advised the officials to hold meetings with the logistic companies to provide last mile connectivity to the freight customers.

Mr Raosaheb Patil Danve reviewed the CCTV Network and Security systems all over the zone and advised the officials to expand the network to further enhance the security and safety of the rail users.
