Mother commits suicide after killing her two daughters in Yadadri-Bhongir
The deceased were identified as Turupunuri Uma Rani (35) and her two daughters, Harsihni (13) and Lucky (11).

Yadadri-Bhongir: A woman committed suicide after killing her two daughters at Choutuppal in Yadadri-Bhongir district on Wednesday night. Another daughter survived when the saree used to hang her slipped to the ground.
The deceased were identified as Turupunuri Uma Rani (35) and her two daughters, Harsihni (13) and Lucky (11). The youngest daughter, Shalini (8), survived. After hanging her three daughters from the ceiling fan in a room, Uma Rani too hung herself to death. According to Shalini, her mother woke them up in the night and hanged them with a saree, which was tied to a ceiling fan in the room.
Uma Rani’s husband Venkatesh runs a kirana shop in the town. Venkatesh was an alcoholic which pushed the family into financial troubles, relatives said. After the incident, Venkatesh went absconding. It is yet to be ascertained whether Venkatesh was present in the house at the time of the incident.
Choutuppal police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to area hospital in Bhongir for autopsy.
